Denver Grassroots Rally May Meeting

We move outside to Civic Center Park for this meeting to create a weekly or monthly Speaker's Corner similar to what they've had for years in London. Unless things change, we plan on meeting each Sunday after the 1st Friday at 4 p.m.

We now meet monthly, join us May 4 to just listen or to share your passion with us!

HOW WE STARTED

The Action Class in Practical Politics workshop gave many, many in Colorado their start in political leadership, we've updated it for the MTV generation! We are also influenced by the original purpose of the Denver City Club, which was to introduce young people to the political leaders of Denver.

Newcomers who want to get involved are invited to meet each month with political leaders from the right and from the left, from major political parties, and from political action groups talk about what they are doing and how to get involved.

WHAT WE'RE DOING AT YOUR NEXT MEETING

We'll hear from you if you want to take a turn on the soap box to tell us about your Colorado Caucus experience, your favorite candidate or issues, or anything else that is on your mind! Or just come and listen. RSVP, especially if you can't be with us for this meeting so you'll get an invitation with the day, time, and place of our next meeting.

It was great to have Denver City Auditor Dennis Gallagher with us for this kickoff event in Civic Center Park, he teaches at Regis University and is going to encourage his students to attend next time. ”
