Denver Grassroots Rally March Meeting

(This is a test group. If people think there is a need for it to continue, we plan on moving outside to Civic Center Park next spring to create a weekly or monthly Speaker's Corner similar to what they've had for years in London.)

We now meet monthly, join us Feb 1 to just listen or to share your passion with us!

Right now, our primary purpose is to increase informed participation in the over 6000 Colorado neighborhood bi-annual meetings (caucuses) that will be held in the February of 2008. Did you go in 2006? If so, come and share your experience with us. If not, come and learn how to be a part of it next February 5.

HOW WE STARTED

The Action Class in Practical Politics workshop gave many, many in Colorado their start in political leadership, we've updated it for the MTV generation! We are also influenced by the original purpose of the Denver City Club, which was to introduce young people to the political leaders of Denver.

Newcomers who want to get involved are invited to meet each month with political leaders from the right and from the left, from major political parties, and from political action groups talk about what they are doing and how to get involved.

WHAT WE'RE DOING AT YOUR NEXT MEETING

We'll hear from you if you want to take a turn on the soap box to tell us about your Colorado Caucus experience, your favorite candidate or issues, or anything else that is on your mind! Or just come and listen. RSVP, especially if you can't be with us Feb 5 so you'll get an invitation with the day, time, and place of our next meeting.
